How to set prices for programs?
Once you have placed and saved a program in your personal account you need to set prices for the program. Price lists are basis for generating booking options as well as for creating raffle of tours lots.
The price list is divided into two blocks:
Examples of price block for group tours
Answer the question "What do you sell?". It will be the unit to base on while setting implementation dates and prices in a program.
Example #1
You run a skydiving center that sells tandem jumps with an instructor, or a diving center that provides test dives. Answer the question "What do you sell?".
For the skydiving center the selling unit will be a tandem jump.
For the diving center the selling unit will be a test dive, OWD Course.
Note: for each selling unit you can create as many dates with prices as you want. For copying the prices quickly use the icon "Copy" with an arrow.
Example #2
You run a surf/kite station and you sell a training program with gear rental and accommodation in a hotel nearby. Your selling unit can depend on the type of accommodation in the hotel.
Note: You can remove dates with prices if the icon with a cross on the right is blue. If the icon is grey it means this position has been ordered or raffled as a lot. This position will be archived.
Example #3
You specialize in mountaineering and arrange equestrian, hiking and water tours for groups of 4-10 people. In most cases such tours sell places. So 1 place is a selling unit.
Note: Set discounted prices for group tours with remote dates to get early bookings and plan programs' capacities in advance.
Example #4
You specialize in yachting, auto and motorcycle tours and form groups based on the limited number of places in you transportation unit.
For sailing cruises selling units can be the following ones:
For auto tours selling units can be the following ones:
For motorcycle tours selling units can be the following ones:
Note: Set the limits for orders such as: "minimal order", "total number of units", "available units" based on your disposal of transportation units or the total number of places when this number is limited by availability of gear or comfort and safety concerns.
Examples of price block for programs upon request
The peculiarity of this block is that the traveler can choose any date within the specified period and negotiate it with you. It can be a period of a year with one price or a few periods depending on local conditions and season. In such tours availability of places is not specified as it is in group tours.
Here you can find example of standard units for this price block:
Note: You can use both price list blocks because if you specialize in group tours it doesn't mean that you can't arrange a tour upon request from a formed group or an individual.
Set your price list for a year in advance!
For your programs to be always available for search on the service regularly update program price lists.
At the end of a season program dates become out of date and this program will not be available for search any more. Neither search engines, nor service customers will be able to find it and plan their trip for the next season.
Keep dates and prices up to date.
